Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to support financial oversight and document governance for a long-term contract opportunity in California. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who can combine strong controller-level judgment with hands-on management of financial records and supporting documentation. The selected candidate will help maintain organized, accurate, and accessible files while contributing to reliable reporting and operational compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial control activities and support accurate maintenance of accounting-related records and documentation.
  • Organize, review, and compile business and financial documents to ensure files are complete, current, and easy to retrieve.
  • Manage high-volume document scanning processes and verify that digitized records are clear, properly labeled, and stored correctly.
  • Establish and maintain document control practices that promote consistency, accuracy, and compliance across financial files.
  • Coordinate the collection and preparation of supporting materials needed for reporting, audits, and internal reviews.
  • Monitor document handling workflows to reduce errors, improve record accessibility, and maintain orderly filing systems.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to confirm that required records are submitted, processed, and retained according to established standards.
