The ideal candidate will have experience working with geriatric patients and possess a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in adults. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills in geriatric patients. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication abilities. Collaborate with patients , families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide education and support to families regarding speech and language development. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques related to speech therapy. Ability to implement early intervention strategies effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
