$150,000•$200,000 per year Job Details•The Assistant Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role combines operational execution with process improvement, partnering closely with leadership to build scalable accounting processes that support a fast-growing business. What You'll Do Lead daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, and general ledger activities. Drive accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members while establishing accountability and performance standards. Review and approve accounting transactions, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability. Partner with leadership on financial reporting, audits, compliance requirements, and operational initiatives that support company growth. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or people management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and operational accounting functions, including AP, AR, and General Accounting. Experience working within ERP systems and advanced proficiency with Excel. A hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Preferred CPA designation. NetSuite experience. Demonstrated success improving close processes, accounting accuracy, automation, or operational efficiencies.
