Job Description:
We're partnering with a private equity-backed, high-growth field-based services company seeking a hands-on Controller/Head of Finance & Accounting to help build and scale the finance and accounting function. This is a highly visible opportunity to lead the accounting function, partner with operations, and help build the financial infrastructure of a rapidly growing business. Reports to CEO. Must have POC/WIP accounting experience. Can be based in Pacific Time Zone, and comfortable with upfront travel to the Bay Area first 60-90 days. Role can ultimately be remote w/ infrequent travel to SF. Key Qualifications Controller or Assistant Controller experience with full ownership of the accounting function Direct POC/WIP accounting experience in a project-based or field services environment Strong GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting expertise Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with the ability to build processes Experience partnering with operations and project teams Private equity, high-growth, or acquisitive company experience preferred
