Inovi Inc. is a California-based technology services company delivering data center management, data center design & build, structured cabling, VOIP, and IT equipment sales to clients across the West Coast. As we grow across each of these lines of business, we're building the financial discipline and infrastructure needed to support that growth.

Position OverviewWe're seeking a Controller to build and own the financial foundation of Inovi as we grow across data center design, build, and management, along with our IT equipment sales and procurement business. Because our revenue comes from active, in-progress projects and equipment deals rather than steady recurring revenue, project margins, cost discipline, and cash flow visibility are critical to keeping the business healthy. You'll report to the Head of Operations, with regular direct contact with the CEO, and you'll shape how Inovi thinks about project profitability, cash timing, and long-term financial sustainability.

In this role, you'll personally establish and run Inovi's core financial operations, accounting, monthly close, AR/AP, and reporting, while building the forecasting infrastructure that gives leadership real visibility into company performance. You'll work closely with project managers, field technicians, and procurement to track project economics in real time, flagging cost overruns, margin slippage, or cash timing risk before they become a problem, and you'll guide pricing and margin discipline across both our services and equipment sales lines.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role, your work will directly shape Inovi's ability to grow responsibly across every line of business. You'll bring the financial rigor and clear-eyed forecasting the company needs to make sound decisions today, and help get Inovi ready for future financing as it scales.
