Our employees are skilled professionals who fix the accounting and finance problems all companies face. We are seeking a full-time Local Controller with various industry experience to become a permanent member of our Los Angeles team! This role requires 10+ years of overall accounting experience, and you will be responsible for managing the accounting functions for multiple clients throughout the Los Angeles area.Responsibilities:
Serve as client's trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team Prepare engagement deliverables (such as financial statements, technical accounting memos, account reconciliations and other work papers); assist engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on time delivery and on budget Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc. Understand the client's organization, procedures and internal policies Participate in client meetings, presentations and proposal development Manage and retain multiple client relationships, engagements and special projects Responsible for billing and realization on assigned clients Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively within or leading a team Foster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive culture Additional responsibilities as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field Minimum of 10 years experience in progressive accounting roles, both within public accounting-audit and corporate roles. Various ERP experience. Active CPA preferred Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Proficient use of applicable technologyBenefits:
