Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes across multiple business units and locations. Manage general ledger activities, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and other core accounting functions. Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and consolidated financial results. Partner with operations and leadership teams to support cost analysis, capital investments, budgeting, and financial decision making. Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and develop accounting staff to support organizational growth.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership or senior accounting leadership responsibilities. Previous experience overseeing multi entity accounting, financial consolidations, and enterprise level financial reporting. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, internal controls, and audit support activities. Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.

Qualifications:

CPA credential preferred. Manufacturing, production, food and beverage, or other inventory intensive industry experience. Public accounting experience. Proven ability to lead accounting teams, standardize processes, and improve reporting efficiency in a multi site environment.
