is hiring a Controller on behalf of a nonprofit, faith-based school in Santa Rosa, CA. This is a senior-level accounting and finance role supporting a mission-driven organization with a collaborative, kindness-led culture. What You'll Do Own the monthly close , quarterly reporting , and annual audit process Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections Provide financial analysis and FP&A support to leadership Partner with the Financial Committee on reporting and planning Support tuition revenue, annual tuition, and tuition assistance analysis Ensure strong controls, accuracy, and on-time deliverables Oversee and lead the Finance Department, providing strategic direction, and accountability for all finance personnel Oversee collaboration with Department Budget Managers on budget formulation and ensure regular reporting to track performance against targets Must-Have Qualifications 5-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience Nonprofit accounting experience Proven leadership experience and ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and financial acumen Comfortable working in a faith-based school environment Thoughtful, confident communicator who leads with kindness Nice to Have (Not Required) CPA and/or MBA Why This Role Competitive nonprofit compensation Onsite leadership role in Santa Rosa Meaningful, mission-driven work Stable organization with collaborative leadership #ZR #IND2
