A premier Accounting and Finance search firm in the Bay area, has teamed with a great client of ours in Santa Clara on a search for an Assistant Controller .This role is onsite. Will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring tax compliance, and overseeing General Accounting and Accounts Payable operations. This position offers the opportunity to drive financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the organization's overall financial success. Monthly preparation and review of financial statements and operating budgets. Provide administration and technical directionto Accounts Payableand General Accounting. This includes training and evaluating employees to enhance their performance. Interface with Operations Managersregarding monthly financial statements. Supervise externalaudits. Review and suggest changesto accounting procedure. Daily bankingfunctions. Special projectsand reports as requested by CFO and Executive team. Oversee all Accounts Payableand General Accounting functions. Training staff on preparation, technical accounting policy,and procedures. Collaborate with IT on accounting relatedprojects. Assist in yearly performance reviews.
Background:
Bachelor's degree and 8-15 years of accounting experience, to include both public accounting and corporate accounting in a larger organization. CPA - California Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite preferred
