40 What You'll Be Doing This position works closely with leaders across the enterprise to shape and execute the strategic vision for the Credit Union's deposit products, ensuring offerings align with Member needs, competitive trends, and long term growth objectives. Responsible for identifying product and service opportunities, monitoring performance and Member engagement, and recommending actions that strengthen both Member experience and organizational effectiveness. Drives cross functional alignment to ensure consistent delivery of deposit products across all touch points and provides executive oversight of the teams and governance structures that support deposit and share administration. Ensures deposit strategy, operations, and infrastructure scale effectively as the organization grows. Develops and executes the enterprise strategy and multi year roadmap for all deposit products, ensuring alignment with Member needs, regulatory requirements, competitive trends, and organizational growth objectives. Leads the prioritization of product and experience enhancements based on data, insights, and enterprise goals. Maintains full accountability for the deposit product lifecycle, including ideation, design, pricing inputs, policy development, launch, optimization, and retirement. Evaluates product performance and Member engagement trends and implements improvements that strengthen both Member value and operational effectiveness. Leads competitive and market intelligence efforts by monitoring pricing, features, digital capabilities, experience benchmarks, and emerging innovation across the industry. Identifies opportunities and threats and translates insights into strategic recommendations that inform product direction and enterprise decision making. Oversees deposit product systems, infrastructure, and operational processes, ensuring reliability, scalability, strong controls, and regulatory compliance. Partners with key stakeholders and vendors to enhance capabilities and address gaps that impact Member experience or product performance. Serves as executive sponsor for deposit related initiatives and investments, ensuring clear ownership, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes. Provides strategic leadership in cross functional initiatives where deposit products or servicing are materially impacted. Acts as a core member of Product Owner and Channel Steward governance forums, collaborating to align product and channel strategies, resolve ownership questions, and support enterprise prioritization. Ensures deposit product implications are represented consistently in enterprise governance. Provides executive level communication and decision support, presenting deposit strategy, performance outcomes, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Synthesizes complex market, Member, and financial data into clear, actionable recommendations that inform enterprise planning. Leads and develops the operational teams supporting deposit and share administration, ensuring high quality service delivery, operational excellence, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement in both Member and teammember experiences. Partners with Treasury to support deposit pricing strategy, balance growth, ALM coordination, and Member value. Additional Job Functions Develop and coach managers and team by establishing annual performance goals, allocating resources, setting priorities and progressing teammembers' technical skills and knowledge. Manages division budget. Handles the most sensitive Member issues to ensure a positive Member experience and outcome. Contributes to organizational strategies and priorities as a member of Leadership team. Appropriately identifies, evaluates, and manages risk within area and implements risk mitigation strategies and activities as appropriate. Supports the Credit Union in overall financial objectives and Member Service goals. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with third-party vendors and sub-servicer to ensure highest level of service is provided to Members. Provides insights and recommendations as to the strength of the Credit Union's brand and ways of enhancing them. Guides the department's development by soliciting feedback from its internal customers and making needed improvements. Takes initiative to bring forward and implement ideas that help the Credit Union grow successfully. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties.
