We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Controller for a well-established manufacturing organization in Colorado Springs. As the Controller you will own the financial narrative while directly influencing operations, compliance, and decision-making. What you'll ownOversee and review monthly financials (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) to ensure accuracy and timelinessLead and develop a team across AP, AR, invoicing, payroll/HR, and Assistant Controller functionsSupport financial operations across multiple entities/subsidiaries Drive month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesEnsure compliance across all financial functions:

Taxes and filingsMonthly/quarterly reportingInsurance and benefits administrationPartner with leadership on cost accounting, job costing, and operational visibilityPlay a key role in hiring, training, and strengthening the accounting functionWhat tends to make someone successful hereStrong foundation in financial statement preparation and ownershipExperience in manufacturing environments (cost accounting, job costing, inventory-driven business)Ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadershipComfort operating in a fully onsite, high-accountability environment
