Full Job Description Overview:
Embark on an exciting journey with us as a full-time Assistant Director of Finance at CoralTree Residence Collection located in Denver, CO. Join our Finance team and be part of the CoralTree Residence Collection Hawaii portfolio, a renowned choice for managing premium and luxury residential resorts, vacation homes, and hotels. Our team is defined by individuals with a genuine purpose, pride, and a strong sense of place.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing all financial aspects of the organization and ensure the company's financial health. This individual will be vital in developing financial strategies, monitoring cash flow, managing financial reporting, and leading the finance team. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Help to lead the budgeting and forecasting process. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with regulations. Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external partners. Provide strategic financial guidance to the departmental staff. Experience in income audit, AP, and general accounting transactions Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including variance reports Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations with timely resolution of reconciling items Responsible for presenting financial reports to owners and "AOAO's"/HOA's Maintain and update month end close checklists to maximize efficiency of the accounting team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred) Hospitality background, experience with complex and multi-property setup Proven experience in a senior financial management role Solution-oriented leader with previous supervisory experience required Minimum two years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience Minimum of two years in property management and HOA accounting Strong understanding of financial data analysis and forecasting Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to make strategic financial decisions Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance Experience with accounting systems -MS Office, ProfitSword, Track PMS, Oracle, Breezeway and Floqast Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Excel spreadsheet applications Possess knowledge of general payroll functions Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision Must be able to perform general job duties while multi-tasking Ability to work and communicate well with co-workers, vendors, guests, and owners Strong desire and confidence to challenge status quo and Identify new ways to improve process efficiencies As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits Colorado Family and Medical Leave Program (FAMLI) Participation in a pre-tax flexible benefit plan for healthcare and dependent care reimbursement An employee assistance program Paid time off/sick time Participation in a 401(k) plan with a company match Team member free room night program Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, building vibrant communities, and shaping the future of travel and hospitality.
