Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the manufacturing industry to find a Controller. This is a full time, permanent position in Arvada. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and business activity reports to support decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial performance metrics, and ensure appropriate reserve levels.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise disbursement activities and verify adherence to company policies and standards.
• Conduct financial analyses, including cost tracking, margin analysis, and utilization assessments.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate budgeting processes and provide financial insights.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster a high-performing and cohesive department.
