POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the CFO, this position requires the ability to accurately maintain the general ledger, maintain the chargemaster, prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and gather records for financial and administrative audits, and all duties assigned to these positions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting reports. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Develop and prepare the annual cost report work paper and responses. Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures to protect company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records. Monitor cash flow, banking activity, and financial commitments; provide regular cash planning and reporting to leadership. Conduct monthly financial analysis. Own the annual budget process and assist leadership with forecasting, financial analysis, and business planning. Coordinate annual tax filings, audit support, and other compliance. Work with internal and external auditors to maintain compliant documents and financial reports. Maintain compliance with GAAP, payroll and tax requirements, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Review financial results, identify trends or variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Evaluate and improve accounting systems, reporting tools, and workflows for accuracy and efficiency. Work collaboratively with Operations, HR, and leadership to ensure alignment between financial processes and business needs Additional duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related discipline 3+ years progressive accounting experiencePreferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Accounting, or MBA with finance emphasis 3+ years Healthcare accounting experience Accounting DesignationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with teams and leadership while demonstrating a high level of integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail. This role requires professionalism in all interactions with employees, patients, and the public, along with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all SECHD, state, and federal policies and regulations. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a professional and compassionate demeanor. Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software systems are required. Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations is preferred. Dependability, initiative, and the ability to see tasks through to completion are critical, as is a commitment to safety, quality, and working under stressful conditions and/or irregular hours.ADAAA Accommodations:
