Salary:
$130,000 - $160,000 Our client is seeking a hands-on Controller with strong accounting expertise and proven leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and key financial performance metrics. Lead all construction accounting activities, including job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, project billings, retainage tracking, and revenue recognition. Partner with project managers to analyze project profitability, monitor project costs, and identify financial risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Prior experience in construction accounting. Strong cost accounting experience. Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities. Proven ability to quickly assess situations and make an immediate impact.
