full-time Assistant Controller | Future Controller | Private Equity Growth Company Our client is a PE-backed sales and service company that is building a financial infrastructure to support planned 4x growth over the next few years. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll help build the finance organization rather than simply maintain it.

This is an opportunity to:

Grow into the Controller role within 12-24 months. Lead a team of four accounting professionals. Build scalable processes, controls and reporting. Drive automation, AI and systems improvements. Support acquisition integration as the business continues to grow. Participate in the company's long-term equity program. The role is ideal for someone seeking to grow into a Controller role without waiting years for someone to retire. Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of progressive experience and enjoys being hands-on while building scalable processes. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, equipment dealerships, construction equipment, automotive, rental, or other inventory-intensive industries is highly desirable. CPA and public accounting experience are valued but not required.
