Job Description
A growing company has contacted us to identify a Controller to add to their team. The company was recently bought by a large global company and needs a competent leader to make sure the accounting team is up and running. Why work here? A growing manufacturing organization with very strong and dedicated leadership The Controller will have a path to eventually move up to CFO, Very flexible schedule, if the work gets done everyone can start between 7-9 AM The company culture is very positive, there are often company lunches or book clubs to bring the entire team together Start with 3 weeks vacation time, plus sick time and great health benefits Responsibilities of the Controller Supervise a staff of 5 (AP, AR, Admin, and 2 Staff Accountants) The Controller will own the month end close Work with an outside CPA to file tax returns and assist in annual audit Revenue recognition Budgeting and forecasting The Controller is responsible for monthly cash flow projections Preferred Qualifications of the Controller Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience Supervisory experience Advanced Excel strongly preferred! #
