OVERVIEW
Pro-Klean Inc., is a full-service mitigation and restoration company based in North Haven, CT. With continued growth and recent system implementations, the company is looking to hire a dynamic Controller to help oversee all accounting & finance operations. Role Summary The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company by managing accounting operations, improving cash flow visibility, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This position will play a critical role in strengthening the company's financial infrastructure as we continue to grow. Key Responsibilities
    Financial Management:
    Oversee AR, AP, Payroll, General Ledger, cash flow forecasting, and monthly closes.
      Job Costing & Reporting:
      Implement job cost tracking, monitor margins, and provide weekly KPI reports.
        Internal Controls & Compliance:
        Establish SOPs, ensure compliance, and coordinate with CPA.
          Leadership:
          Supervise accounting staff, partner with operations, and provide actionable reporting. Key Metrics (KPIs)Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) < 45 days Accounts Receivable Over 90 Days < 15%Weekly Cash Flow Forecast Accuracy ±5%Monthly Close by 10th Business Day Gross Profit Tracking by Division (Mitigation, Rebuild, TPA, Direct) Job Cost Variance Within 5%Work-in-Progress (WIP) Aging < 30 Days Average Revenue Recognition Accuracy Overhead Ratio Management Program Profitability Reporting Budget vs. Actual Variance Reporting Structured AR Collections Execution Accurate & Timely Financial Reporting Qualifications
          • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).
          • 5+ years accounting/finance experience in construction/restoration/service industries.
          • Strong job costing knowledge.
          • Proficiency in QuickBooks
          • Proven AR/cash flow management ability. What Success Looks Like
