Our client, a leading U.S. manufacturing site within a global industrial group, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the U.S. division's finance function. This senior, hands-on finance leadership role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial strategy, and reporting. The Director of Finance will partner closely with the Managing Director and international headquarters, manage the U.S. finance team, and play a critical role in driving financial discipline, operational insight, and long-term business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive U.S. division financial strategy while managing hands-on accounting operationsProvide strategic financial insights to executive leadership, influencing decisions and growthLead quarterly and year-end closes and deliver accurate, actionable financial statementsEnsure strong financial controls and compliance across U.S. GAAP, tax, and corporate standardsOwn balance sheet integrity, ensuring reconciliations and reporting are preciseManage cash, liquidity, foreign exchange, and debt activities to support business goalsOversee AP/AR, including credit management and collections with salesLead inventory valuation and reconciliation to corporate guidelines and standardsMaintain fixed asset records from capitalizations to depreciation and disposalsPartner on budgeting, cost accounting, and financial modelingBuild and mentor your finance team, with growth potential beyond the current direct report
