Chilton Trust ("CTC") is a private wealth management firm launched in 2010 by Richard L. Chilton Jr. CTC offers full-service, bespoke private wealth management services, including asset allocation advice, management of separate portfolio accounts in equity and fixed income, open architecture manager research, trust and estate planning and family office services include tax compliance and planning. CTC has offices in New York, Palm Beach, Naples, Connecticut, Charlotte, Virginia and Delaware. Position Description The Director of Finance is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and business analytics for the firm. This role partners closely with executive leadership, business unit heads, the outside board of directors and operations to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize profitability, and support long-term growth in a complex, regulated wealth management environment. The ideal candidate combines deep financial expertise with strong analytical capability and an understanding of revenue models common to wealth management firms (AUM-based fees, advisory fees, recurring revenue streams). Key Responsibilities Lead the firm's annual budgeting and multi-year strategic planning process. Develop rolling forecasts and scenario models aligned with AUM growth, market performance, client acquisition, and advisor productivity. Oversee revenue forecasting driven by AUM, fee schedules, advisor performance, and market conditions. Prepare and present executive and board-level reporting packages. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reports working closely with Corporate and Fund controllers who prepare financial statements. Foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement. Build cross-functional collaboration between finance and business units. Candidate Description Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. MBA or CPA preferred; 8-10+ years of experience with a minimum 5 years in a wealth or asset management environment; Solid experience providing executive level reporting for private client/ultra high net worth wealth management firms required. Excellent oral and written communication skills; Familiarity with the broad range of products and services behind the operations of a complex financial services firm; Experience working in a collaborative and consensus-building, yet demanding environment; Familiarity with regulators and regulatory processes.Requirements:
