We apply statistical and machine learning techniques to build investment portfolios and trade client assets across global equity and futures markets. As we expand our strategies, data, and infrastructure, we are seeking a Financial Controller to work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to support the firm's continued growth. Responsibilities Oversee daily reconciliation processes and support monthly NAV production and review in coordination with fund administrators Supervise and optimize treasury and collateral management activities across accounts Coordinate and oversee annual audits and tax filings for both funds and the management company Support management company accounting, including recording expenses, accruals, intercompany transactions, and supporting month-end close and financial reporting Manage and enhance vendor payment processes, including automation of workflows for external payees (e.g., data vendors, professional service providers) Develop, document, and maintain operational procedures for critical processes, including building and maintaining an internal accounting/operations knowledge base Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, fund operations, or middle/back office roles within a hedge fund, asset manager, prime broker, or fund administrator Familiarity with multi-asset class instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX) Strong Excel skills; experience with data analysis, automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL), or accounting systems is a plus Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Experience with Geneva accounting software is preferred but not required Experience leveraging automation tools (including AI-based solutions) to improve accounting or operational workflows is a plus Benefits Competitive salary, plus bonus based on individual and company performance Collaborative, casual, and friendly work environment while solving the hardest problems in the financial markets PPO Health, dental and vision insurance premiums fully covered for you and your dependents Trexquant is an Equal Opportunity Employer
