Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements across multiple business entities Lead the annual budgeting process and manage day-to-day financial operations Present financial results, forecasts, and budget performance to senior leadership Ensure timely federal and state tax filings and compliance Coordinate annual financial statement audits with the external CPA firm Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures Direct all accounting functions, including Revenue Cycle, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and account reconciliations Perform financial modeling, analysis, and special projects as needed Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and business decisions Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
2-8+ years of experience as a Controller within a mid-sized or large organization Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required CPA and/or Master's degree strongly preferred Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP platform Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on leadership style Experience managing accounting teams of 10 or more employees Prior public accounting experience is highly preferred #
