$100-$110K The Controller will partner with senior management to evaluate financial performance, implement robust internal controls, and deliver strategic financial insights to guide decision-making. This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within our growing company. Responsibilities Financial Oversight Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and forecasts to drive strategic planning. Provide insights into financial trends and variances, ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders. Internal Controls & Compliance Develop and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks. Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Operational Accounting Utilize NetSuite to manage accounting operations, intercompany transactions, and class structures effectively. Oversee accounting for diverse income streams and reconcile general ledgers across multiple sources. Manage cash flow projections, online banking activities, and funding processes. Team Support Act as a backup for payroll processing during team member absences, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide leadership in accounts receivable (AR) funding and collections, ensuring alignment with balance sheet management. Risk Management Assess and manage financial risks, including workers' compensation impacts and operational liabilities. Strategic Collaboration Partner with external accountants and tax advisors to optimize financial outcomes. Participate in business planning and profitability enhancement initiatives. HR Collaboration Provide oversight of HR-related accounting responsibilities, ensuring alignment with financial objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. Advanced proficiency in NetSuite preferred but not required Expertise in managing intercompany transactions and accounting for multiple income streams. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage cash flow projections and oversee online banking for multiple accounts. Advanced MS Excel skills, including data modeling and financial analysis. Strong knowledge of GAAP, balance sheet management, AR processing, and risk management. Previous payroll processing experience is a plus. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively across teams.
