This individual will play a key role in supporting executive leadership with financial planning, business analysis, and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization. Primary Responsibilities Financial Planning & Business Support Coordinate the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership. Support long-range planning initiatives and strategic business objectives. Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Accounting & Reporting Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Develop and maintain effective accounting policies and procedures. Oversee external audits and support auditor requests. Cash Flow & Treasury Operations Monitor liquidity, cash forecasting, and working capital requirements. Manage relationships with banking partners and financial institutions. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities. Assist with financing activities and capital planning initiatives. Compliance & Governance Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain a strong internal control framework. Assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Stay informed of accounting and regulatory developments impacting the business. Team Leadership Lead and develop a finance and accounting team. Establish performance objectives and provide ongoing coaching. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner with department leaders across the organization to support business goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. CPA, MBA, CFA, or comparable professional credential. Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience. At least 4 years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and reporting requirements. Experience managing complex budgets and financial planning processes. Advanced proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Experience working with enterprise accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications Background supporting a private equity-backed or publicly traded organization. Exposure to acquisitions, due diligence, or post-acquisition integration. Experience improving financial processes within a growing company. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
