This role is responsible for developing the F&I team, delivering a clear and respectful customer experience, and maintaining strong financial performance and compliance. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and hold F&I managers accountable for performance and customer service. Oversee financing, leasing, protection product presentations, and contract completion. Build productive relationships with lenders and maintain competitive financing options. Monitor deal flow, funding, contracts in transit, product performance, and chargebacks. Partner with sales leadership to improve the handoff from vehicle selection through delivery. Ensure accurate paperwork and consistent compliance with applicable laws, lender requirements, and dealership policies. Review department results, identify opportunities, and implement practical improvements. Qualifications Proven automotive F&I management experience; Finance Director experience preferred. Strong knowledge of dealership financing, leasing, lender relationships, and F&I compliance. Demonstrated ability to coach a team and improve results. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to treating customers fairly and making the purchase process easy to understand.
