The firm employs 50+ professionals (including 20+ attorneys), operates from three Florida offices, and is known for its collegial, family‑office culture and long employee tenure. Clients include public and private companies, including Fortune 500 organizations. The Role This is a key leadership position reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The incoming Controller will oversee a team of two and manage all day‑to‑day financial operations. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly close and financial statement preparation Oversee daily/monthly reporting and cash flow monitoring Manage in‑house payroll and intercompany accounting Provide financial analysis and updates to firm leadership Supervise and develop the accounting team Support select risk management initiatives Preferred Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of Controller‑level experience (ideally $5–20M revenue companies) Law firm or professional services experience (ideally at a firm with billable hours) Experience with Juris highly preferred Advanced level of excel skills Hands‑on, detail‑oriented leadership style #
