The Controller will partner closely with senior Finance and executive leadership while overseeing critical accounting, reporting, compliance, and control functions that support the organization's continued growth and success. This Controller role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys balancing technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnership and operational improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities of the Controller Lead all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and public company requirements Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while reviewing financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Own SOX compliance efforts, including control documentation, testing support, remediation activities, and ongoing control effectiveness Coordinate internal and external audits while maintaining a strong internal control environment and ensuring audit readiness Partner with executive leadership to support business performance, strategic initiatives, process improvements, and the development of the accounting team Qualifications for the Controller 10+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience, including significant manufacturing accounting experience Public company experience with strong hands-on SOX compliance, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit management expertise CPA, CMA, or MBA required Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing teams and driving accounting process improvements Work Environment for the Controller Onsite leadership role with executive-level visibility and influence Stable, publicly traded manufacturing organization with strong growth potential Opportunity to lead transformational accounting and compliance initiatives Collaborative environment with direct interaction across Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership Relocation assistance may be considered for qualified candidates This Controller opportunity is best suited for an accomplished accounting leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys building strong teams, enhancing controls, and driving operational excellence.
