This role supports senior leadership and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting in a fast?paced healthcare environment. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 10-15 years accounting & finance experience 10-15 years accounting management experience Healthcare experience strongly preferred Experience in family/private?practice organizations Multi?company & multi?site accounting experience Payroll & workers' compensation experience Basic tax knowledge Experience converting systems (payroll platforms, QuickBooks) Familiarity with AI tools in accounting a plus Essential Skills Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple projects Strong organizational/time?management skills Advanced Excel/Microsoft Office (formulas, lookups, data analysis) Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities In?depth knowledge of accounting software, regulations, and financial analysis High level of confidentiality Critical?thinking mindset; comfortable challenging the status quo Hands?on leadership style Strategic thinking with the ability to design, implement, and sustain operational improvements Core Responsibilities Oversee preparation of financial statements & reporting Bank reconciliations and accuracy of financial data Financial analysis, trends, and corrective recommendations Develop financial policies & procedures Monthly, quarterly, annual reporting Annual budgeting Mentor accounting staff Medical billing & A/R oversight Coordinate with external financial entities Prepare monthly doctor reports Senior leadership scorecard preparation Payroll oversight & backup processing Workers' compensation & payroll tax support Health plan invoice reconciliation 401(k) administration Ensure state & federal compliance
