West Palm Beach, FL Salary Range:

$100,000-$135,000 (Depending On Experience)

Position Summary:

The Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the country club, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and effective financial management to support the club's goals and member services.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with club leadership Monitor cash flow and ensure proper financial controls are in place Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements Supervise accounting staff and provide training and performance management Work closely with the General Manager and Board of Directors on financial planning and strategy Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors and tax advisors Maintain and improve financial systems and reporting processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience, preferably in hospitality, private clubs, or similar environment Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Proficiency in accounting software and Excel #
