This position is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow management, and ensuring overall financial accuracy and compliance across all restaurant and corporate entities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, hands-on, and experienced in hospitality or multi-unit restaurant accounting. This role will work closely with ownership and executive leadership to support operational growth, financial strategy, and long-term business planning. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Oversee all accounting operations for multiple restaurant entities and related companies Prepare and review monthly financial statements, P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models Provide financial analysis and reporting to ownership and executive leadership Accounting Operations Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activity Ensure accuracy of payroll allocations, labor reporting, and intercompany transactions Oversee sales tax filings, payroll tax coordination, and other financial compliance requirements Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls Assist with audits, insurance reporting, and external CPA coordination Restaurant & Operational Support Partner with operations leadership to monitor labor, food cost, and operational performance metrics Review restaurant-level financial performance and identify variances Support inventory and cost control initiatives alongside operations teams Assist with financial planning for new restaurant openings and company growth initiatives Leadership & Administration Supervise accounting staff and support departmental development Create and implement standardized financial procedures and reporting structures Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding sensitive financial and employee information Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounting or financial management experience Multi-unit restaurant or hospitality experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management Experience with restaurant POS and payroll systems preferred Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail Preferred Systems Experience Toast Payroll & POS Restaurant365, Craftable, or similar inventory/accounting systems Google Workspace Excel / Google Sheets Accounts payable and payroll management platforms
