Reporting to the Director of Accounting NA, this role leads core accounting operations, financial reporting, and team development while ensuring strong internal controls and US GAAP compliance. This is a high-visibility leadership position with significant cross-functional exposure and opportunity for growth within a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS Oversee accounting operations (GL, AP, inventory, fixed assets, cash) Support preparation of monthly management reporting packages, variance analyses, and ad hoc financial reporting requests. Manage audits and maintain strong internal controls Serve as a key point of contact for accounting-related matters across the organization. Partner cross-functionally (FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) Drive process improvements and support ERP/finance transformation Directly manage, coach, mentor, and develop accounting team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build organizational capability through cross-training, knowledge sharing, and employee development initiatives. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's in Accounting /Finance; CPA preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting experience 3+ years of people leadership Strong US GAAP, reporting, and audit experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities. Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience preferred Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
