Back To Results Controller -, Manufacturing Job Description Controller - Manufacturing A rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and cost accounting, as well as a proven track record of success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Develop and implement cost accounting procedures to accurately track and allocate direct and indirect costs. Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations. Prepare and analyze financial statements and budgets, providing regular reports to management. Supervise a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as needed. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and systems. Conduct regular audits and internal controls to maintain the accuracy of financial records and ensure the company's financial stability.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification. 5+ years of experience in financial management, with a strong focus on cost accounting and QuickBooks. Supervisory experience and the ability to manage a team of financial professionals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
