Job Description

Job Overview:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of financial information for the organization. This role manages financial analysis, maintains complete and accurate financial records, executes profitability and cost analyses, and supports monthly and annual close processes. Working as a strategic business partner, the Controller collaborates closely with plant operations, supply chain, engineering, and executive leadership to provide financial insights that support operational efficiency, profitability, and informed decision making. This position also helps drive business performance, maintain financial compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support long-term organizational objectives through data-driven recommendations and process improvements.
Duties:
Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, scrap, rework, and manufacturing variances. Prepare and present insightful analysis to support leadership in decision making. Oversee financial operations at the plant level, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Support in the development, evaluation and implementation of measures to increase productivity, process optimization and cost efficiency. Prepare regular analyses, reports, plan/FC-actual deviations and ad-hoc analyses including presentation, recommendation, and follow up of actions. Prepare contribution margin, simulation and profitability calculations. Regular preparation of deviation analyses such as output quantity, material use, reject rate, etc. Financial support for monthly and annual financial statements. Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Optimize the systems used for further automation of our controlling processes. Ensures compliance with internal accounting procedures.
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or other relevant field required. 5 + years of progressive accounting experience. Automotive manufacturing experience required.
Special Knowledge:
Advanced Excel skills Proficiency in ERP systems Analytical skills and strong affinity for numbers Experience in the field of plant/production controlling and accounting Experience in realization of budgets Must have strong analytical skills, comprehensive view of the topics, solution-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial thinking.
