$67,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year (Based on experience) About the Opportunity Are you a sharp, detail-oriented accounting leader with a passion for precision and driving operational excellence? Tolley Community Management is seeking an experienced, proactive Financial Controller to take the reins of our financial operations. In this pivotal role, you won't just oversee the numbers—you will lead, mentor, and shape the financial future of our company. Managing multiple bank accounts and entities, you will ensure our accounting processes run like a well-oiled machine. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Strategy Team Supervision:
Mentor, guide, and supervise a dedicated team of accounting professionals, cultivating a culture of accuracy and strict regulatory compliance.
Process Optimization:
Continually monitor and improve the efficacy of internal accounting procedures.
Policy Management:
Maintain existing financial policies and ensure company-wide adherence. Design and implement new, robust internal controls, policies, and procedures as the business grows.
High-Level Financial Operations Multi-Entity Management:
Expertly manage financial operations across multiple distinct companies and complex bank accounts.
Funding & Loans:
Oversee and manage corporate bank loan requests with precision.
Risk & Oversight:
Direct corporate collection efforts, review insurance claims for payout approvals, and spearhead the implementation of Control Assessment Fee setups.
Core Accounting Oversight & Auditing Financial Reporting:
Oversee the meticulous preparation and strategic analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger spreadsheets.
Auditing & Precision:
Audit critical financial documents to rapidly resolve any discrepancies.
Hands-On Oversight:
Ensure smooth execution of high-volume day-to-day accounting, including multi-account bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting (Required).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Accounting Financial Manager or Controller (Preferred).
Technical Mastery:
Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting. High proficiency in financial software is required, with Cinc Systems experience considered a significant advantage.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional reading comprehension and powerful verbal/written communication skills required for clear stakeholder reporting.
