Automotive Lift Services

• Financial Controller You will be the financial controller for every company we run: Automotive Lift Services in Ames, IA and Lakeland, FL, Ames Hydraulics, and each new company we add.

You keep the money moving. That means making sure we get paid on time, pay our vendors on time, pay our people correctly, and let every leader see each week whether their location is winning or losing. What You'll Own

• Payroll (the biggest part of the job). Run payroll for every location in Iowa and Florida, and make sure every tech's hourly base and commission are paid correctly for every job.
• Cash flow. Follow up on every open invoice so we get paid on time, and time our payables so vendors get paid on time without leaving us short.
• P&L reporting. Track and report the P&L for each location so leaders can tell quickly whether they're winning.
• Daily tech scorecards. Track and report each tech's revenue from completed jobs, revenue from upsells, and reviews gathered.
• Supplier terms. Negotiate better pricing and payment terms with our suppliers.
• Financing. Help us get better financing from banks and credit card companies. What You're Walking Into We're a younger, growing company, and things are messy. There are no finance systems waiting for you to take over. You'll build them, and you'll run them while you build them. You'll also jump in on other jobs when the company needs it, like ordering parts and purchasing. What You Need
• Experience running payroll, including commission-based pay
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Comfortable building processes from scratch, not just following them What Makes You Our Ideal Candidate
• You're a CPA (strongly preferred)
• You've worked at a fast-growing company and know what it takes to scale
• You're technically minded and can help with ordering parts and keeping operations running

In a nut shell: Automotive Lift Services & Hydraulics is a full service hydraulic shop, providing both in house hydraulic repair and mobile repair. We also sell and install hydraulic systems. The vision at Automotive Lift Services & Hydraulics is to provide repairs within 48 hours or it's free in every state in the USA (cue the bald eagle screech).
