Job Summary:
Small manufacturing company in Southwest Iowa is looking for an accounting/financial professional who will oversee the high-level accounting duties required for such industry. Our company is growing and needs a knowledgeable individual experienced in cost accounting, capital projects, and preparing necessary financial documents. Said individual would report directly to the CEO and owners.Job Specifics:
Prepare & examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports Supervising and providing leadership Overseeing and coordinating all accounting activities of the company Making recommendations on process improvements Develop & analyze reporting for business operations and budgets Prepare, analyze and report monthly gross margin analysis by customer, part number, and production jobs Analyze cost variances to identify discrepancies, propose the appropriate resolution and prepare reports Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules Assist with annual budget preparation and forecast future results Other duties as assignedRequirements:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Possess at least 3 years of professional accounting experience in a manufacturing environment In-depth understanding of manufacturing cost accounting Highly proficient inQuickbooks Manufacturing & Wholesale Disclaimer:
