This is a high-impact leadership role offering visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to shape processes, develop a team, and support strategic initiatives. Backfill this role and the incumbant moves into the CFO seat. Why This Opportunity Lead the full accounting function within a stable, high-performing organization Direct exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-making Opportunity to enhance processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure Manage and mentor a dedicated accounting team Contribute to a collaborative, values-driven culture Key Responsibilities Lead financial reporting and statutory filings Own month-end, year-end, and annual close processes Oversee general ledger, audits, and internal controls Lead, mentor, and develop a team Partner with CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA designation strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior leadership experience managing and developing staff required (2-3 years) Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger, and internal controls Experience within insurance or regulated industries preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Benefits Competitive Compensation + Bonus + Full Benefits Package Medical, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holidays, & 401K with employer match
