Job Description

A well-established and growing automotive organization is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to oversee all dealership accounting and financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to accuracy, compliance, and process improvement. Responsibilities Manage all accounting office operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accounting schedules Monitor cash flow, expenses, and internal financial controls Review and maintain compliance with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and accounting standards Partner with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies Supervise and develop accounting office personnel Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and vendors as needed Qualifications Strong dealership accounting knowledge required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities What We Offer Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Professional growth and advancement opportunities Stable and supportive work environment If you are an experienced automotive accounting professional looking to join a successful organization where your expertise can make an impact, we encourage you to apply.
