This is a fully on-site position offering the opportunity to work closely with the Controller and gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of hospitality, consulting and rental real estate related entities.

Position Overview:

The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations across these multiple entities, including food and beverage clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across varied business structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements and internal reports Work across multiple entities with varying accounting needs Assist with cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions Collaborate with the Controller and owner on process improvements and special projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience (hospitality experience a plus) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with QuickBooks Online required Familiarity with Toast POS (or similar restaurant systems) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
