Assistant Controller A growing construction organization is adding a Assistant Controller to oversee billing, project financials, and a small team supporting multiple active job sites. Ideal for someone coming from a larger construction firm who can bring stronger processes, structure, and leadership. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 AP/AR/Project Accounting staff Manage project billing, pay applications, waivers, and subcontractor payments Oversee AR posting and ensure accurate project financial reporting Partner with project managers to validate costs and resolve billing issues Improve and standardize procedures, workflows, and documentation Support technology adoption to streamline accounting processes What You Bring Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field Construction industry experience required CPA Knowledge of SOX and GAAP Strong knowledge of construction billing and project accounting Leadership or supervisory experience Stable career history with progression Yearly Compensation 120,000-$160,000 plus benefits #LI-SP3 EB-1886878742
