Overview The Vice President, IT Business Systems Delivery is responsible for executing and operationalizing the global IT strategy defined by the Chief Information Officer (CIO), ensuring delivery of business systems and application solutions that enable AIT's growth and operational excellence.
This role translates strategic priorities into executable plans, leads global delivery teams, and ensures alignment, accountability, and results across the technology portfolio. The Vice President, IT Business Systems Delivery partners closely with the CIO and business leaders to ensure that strategic objectives are effectively implemented through scalable, high-quality technology solutions.
The position owns delivery performance, execution discipline, and operational excellence across the application landscape, while contributing to strategic planning through delivery insight, feasibility, and execution expertise. Responsible for executing the global application and business systems strategy as defined by the CIO, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions aligned to business priorities. This includes ownership of delivery execution, portfolio management, financial performance, and organizational leadership across globally distributed teams, with accountability for achieving measurable business outcomes. Partners with vendor and third‑party partnerships, including selection, negotiation, and performance oversight. Build and lead high performing global delivery teams while driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, methodologies, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration efforts and provides support M&A activities through IT due diligence and business‑system integration. As well as, partnering with the enterprise architecture to ensure solutions align with long term strategic direction, standards, and technology roadmaps. Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tools, and methodologies, including Agile and DevOps. - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (required)
- Master's Degree in related field (preferred) Experience
- 15+ years experience in information technology, including senior leadership roles (required) and
- 15+ years experience leading global teams and managing people leaders (required)
- 15+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or global operations environments (required)
- Must have work experience leading global IT delivery organizations and executing large-scale technology initiatives. (required)
- Must have a proven track record of executing large-scale technology strategies and delivering enterprise-wide solutions (required)
- Must have work experience managing complex portfolios, stakeholders, and cross-functional initiatives (required)
- Work experience with mergers and acquisitions and IT due diligence (required)
- Work experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern product delivery practices. (required) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and executive influencing skills. High
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management High
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise systems, application platforms, and modern development tools. High

- Resolves highly complex, enterprise-level problems requiring strategic judgment and execution leadership. High
- Proven track record of executing large-scale technology strategies and delivering enterprise-wide solutions. High
- Ability to lead multiple teams, including senior manager and directors, across global locations. High
- Experience managing complex portfolios, stakeholders, and cross-functional initiatives. High Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI - or similar (preferred) What AIT Can Offer You In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
