Medulla provides managed services such as Sales & Marketing, Billing, IT, HR, and Finance to three chiropractic brands, operating under the names of Chiro One, MyoCore, and CORE Health Centers. Medulla is comprised of 830+ employees, with corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, IL and 150+ clinic locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

Job DescriptionGeneral DescriptionFinance leader responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, M&A diligence and integration, audit, budgeting, FP&A, and tax compliance for a high growth, acquisitive, PE sponsored healthcare organization. This role is a strategic senior level position that requires extensive knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, and technology platforms. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports in Sage IntacctBuild and maintain in depth understanding of the business and key drivers Lead and coordinate external audits Maintain strong revenue recognition policies and controls Review and produce month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsLead FP&A function to provide forward looking insights (revenue analysis, leading indicators, NPV)Drive vigorous annual budget process and support long-term strategic planning Compliance with all local tax requirements in 12 states and growing Assure proper internal controlsSeamless integration of acquisitionsSupport treasury and banking relationshipLead financial due diligence for M&A processProper recording of acquisition transactions Accounting literature research as neededConstant process improvement for increased efficiency, automation, and controls QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting.
Strong people manager who develops team members effectively. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, including technical accounting procedures and government regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsHealthcare / physician practice rollup experience. Worked with private equity sponsor. Advanced Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
CPA License. Working knowledge of Sage Intacct.
