Shamrock Group and KBI are growing companies operating under separate books and financial reporting. Shamrock has been part of the Minneapolis business community for more than 80 years, and both organizations are now operating in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment under new ownership. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on CPA Controller who wants to be part of the business and own the accounting function from start to finish. This is a full-time, permanent, in-house position. It is not a consulting, fractional, interim, or contract role. The Controller will report directly to the CFO and will currently operate as a stand-alone accounting leader with no junior accounting support. Responsibilities Own accounting and financial reporting for both Shamrock Group and KBI. Maintain accurate, separate books for each company. Lead month-end and year-end close. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany activity. Build financial and operational reports from scratch. Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes. Work within Acumatica and other ERP systems. Support M&A activity and integration of acquired businesses. Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and outside accounting requirements. Independently research and resolve accounting issues. Required Qualifications CPA required — active or inactive license accepted. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. 5+ years in a senior accounting, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, Audit Manager, or similar role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation. Hands-on experience managing month-end and year-end close. Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Experience managing multiple entities or separate sets of books. Experience building financial reports and supporting schedules from scratch. Strong Excel and ERP experience. Ability to work independently with limited direction. Preferred Experience Acumatica experience. Public accounting or Big Four experience. M&A or post-acquisition integration experience. ERP implementation or process improvement experience. Manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or service industry experience. Who Will Be Successful Here The right person will be a self-starter who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership. Pay:

$115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
