Real Estate Investment Firm Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting teams Review, approve, and provide feedback on staff - journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules. Coach, train, and mentor team members at all levels Oversee full-cycle accounting Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly Review property-level payables and receivables Oversee the review and maintenance of property fixed asset records Oversees all corporate financial functions including accounting, budgeting, credit, risk, tax, and treasury Reviews and approves corporate required reports Leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and business strategic analysis of the firm Reviews quarterly valuation summaries

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Accounting required CPA required Minimum of 7+ accounting experience (at least 1 year as a controller) Previous experience with institutional real estate accounting required Big 4 or mid-tier audit experience preferred
