Job Summary

Establishes and maintains accounting policies, fiscal controls, and financial reporting procedures to safeguard the organization's assets. Coordinates the preparation of financial reports, including the general ledger, financial statements, and regulatory and management reports. Ensures compliance with accounting standards and controls to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial operations.



Key Responsibilities

Advises senior management on financial strategies and provides critical financial insights to guide decision-making, supporting the achievement of business goals and objectives.

Coordinates processes and assignments within the finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Implements financial controls and reporting standards, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures while managing risks related to financial data accuracy and security.

Develops and monitors financial systems and processes to ensure smooth, efficient financial operations, supporting business needs and operational goals.

Evaluates performance of financial systems, ensuring the alignment of resources, processes, and outcomes with organizational objectives. Identifies areas for improvement and leads initiatives to optimize financial operations.

Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, external auditors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure financial transparency, compliance, and effective communication.

Ensures quality and accuracy of financial reporting, overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports to senior leadership, investors, and auditors.

Manages and develops finance team members, providing leadership, mentorship, and operational guidance to improve individual and team performance and foster professional growth.

Educates internal teams on financial processes and best practices, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with financial standards and regulations.
