Sprague Hotel Developers is seeking an experienced Financial Director to oversee financial operations, strengthen accounting processes, and provide strategic financial guidance to leadership. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance leader who can balance hands-on accounting oversight with big-picture planning, compliance, and team development. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day financial operations, accounting management, and reporting activities. Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strong internal controls. Lead cost analysis, budgeting support, forecasting, and financial performance review. Manage general ledger activity, reconciliations, month-end close, and related accounting processes. Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Lead, mentor, and support accounting team members while fostering accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making. Perform other finance and accounting duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Progressive experience in accounting, finance leadership, or financial management. Experience with Acumatica or similar cloud-based ERP/accounting software and 3rd-party payroll processing preferred. HR experience is beneficial but not required. Strong knowledge of general ledger management, financial statements, budgeting, cost analysis, and compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting or finance staff. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
