full-time About the Role The Industrial Controller is the financial backbone of the operation. This role owns the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, drives budgeting and forecasting, and partners directly with plant and business leadership to translate operational performance into financial insight. You'll be the person leadership turns to when they need to understand what the numbers are really saying about production, cost, and profitability, and you'll have real influence over decisions that affect the business line's performance. This is a high visibility role with exposure across R D, manufacturing, and commercial teams, and it comes with a clear line of sight into the broader Administration, Finance & Controlling (AFC) team.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under both Local and Group GAAP, supporting the AF Manager in BL accounting Lead SOX compliance activities and audit preparation, and maintain strong internal controls Maintain, update, and review financial master data including inventory items and standard costs Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the full financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycle for the Drug Delivery Systems unit Monitor and control operational expenses, CAPEX, and working capital across the BL Support the timely preparation and analysis of periodic Controlling Reports Cost & Performance Analysis Analyze product line profitability, cost structures, and investment returns to guide business decisions Ensure timely reporting of industrial KPIs, including production performance, volumes, product costs, margins, scrap, inventory, material flow, equipment utilization, and labor, to drive efficient production processes Support pricing strategies, contract evaluations, and margin improvement initiatives Business Partnership Collaborate closely with R D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to align financial goals with the BL's business strategy Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, building strong working relationships across all levels of a multinational organization Participate in special Group projects within the AFC function, giving you visibility into finance initiatives beyond the plant level Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics 4-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering services company Excellent Excel skills and strong working knowledge of ERP systems International experience is a plus A dynamic, proactive mindset with the ability to build credibility and relationships across different levels of a multinational organization Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with competing demands Why work with us?
