In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations related to construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accounting principles. Your expertise will support strategic decision-making, enhance financial accuracy, and promote efficient resource management within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction accounting and advanced proficiency with various accounting software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports Manage general ledger accounting processes, including account reconciliation, debits & credits, and journal entries. Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of assets, liabilities, and equity accounts. Supervise accounts payable and receivable employees, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Lead budgeting processes, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing variances to support project profitability. Monitor cash management activities to optimize liquidity for ongoing construction operations. Manage and track Certificates of Insurance Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project cost tracking and financial analysis. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction accounting is a strong plus Experience with accounting software such as Foundation, Viewpoint, SAGE300, Intacct, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting techniques, and budget management. Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. #indal

$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
