This is an outstanding opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations, driving business performance, and influencing strategic decision-making in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role offers significant exposure to both plant and corporate leadership, providing the opportunity to make a measurable impact on operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term business success. The Plant Controller will be responsible for leading all plant-level financial activities, including financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory controls, fixed assets, variance analysis, and compliance. This individual will serve as a trusted business partner to plant leadership while ensuring strong financial governance and supporting key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in automotive manufacturing and a proven track record in plant finance leadership. Experience working within European-headquartered organizations is highly valued, including familiarity with European reporting requirements, internal control frameworks, corporate governance standards, and month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus. Proven experience as a Plant Controller, Operations Controller, or senior manufacturing finance leader. Required experience within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis. Demonstrated ability to partner with operations leaders to drive performance improvements and cost optimization initiatives. Experience supporting European reporting structures, financial controls, compliance requirements, and corporate governance standards. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is highly preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
