Job Summary The Business Center in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is seeking a dynamic, detail orientated Senior Finance Director. The Senior Finance Director serves as the College's senior financial advisor, partnering closely with the Dean, academic leadership, and program directors to make an impact by shaping financial strategy that advances institutional priorities, drives academic excellence, and supports long-term organizational success. In this high-impact role, you will make a difference by aligning resources with mission-driven goals, strengthening financial sustainability, and enabling bold, strategic decisions that move the College forward. Role:
The Senior Finance Director will lead the development and execution of data-informed budgeting models, ensuring effective resource allocation, financial sustainability, and operational efficiency across academic and administrative units. They will direct the full budget planning, reporting, and forecasting lifecycle, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership experience. They will create and deliver updated budget-based fiscal reports and fund balance reporting. This includes directing the preparation and governance of financial and operational data used for surveys, regulatory reporting, and special initiatives, including responses to open records requests. It will require partnering closely with the Dean and senior leadership to produce data-driven insights, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses that inform strategic decisions. Why Join Us:
